Making an Impact:

The results are in and due to the generosity and great spirit of the Lost Tree community, we set a new record for food collected topping 10,000 pounds for the first time…….10,243 pounds to be exact.  This was a full 10% over last year’s record.  Cash contributions added more than $16,000.  Thank you to the 240 residents who made this a great day for a special cause.

I would especially like to thank the record number of 74 volunteers, committee members Brenda Armstrong, Phil Kenny, David McBride and Jeff Walsh, and Foundation team members Jillian Vukusich and Teresa Bernard for their invaluable help.

The timing of this year’s Food Drive could not have been better.  The Palm Beach County Food Bank expects particularly high demand for food as school closings and other disruptions, due the public health emergency, are expected to disrupt the regular channels for food distribution to those who need it most.

I look forward to the 2021 Food Drive!

With gratitude,

Chris Baine, Food Drive Chair
